"Naruto: Clash of Ninja 2" is a fighting game centered on anime characters with special powers. You can unlock new modes for the game after completing specific tasks and unlock new characters by accumulating cash earned throughout the game. Once you know the moves of each character and what button combinations they require, you will improve at the game.
Modes
Unlock Maximum Damage Mode by playing Time Attack Mode and getting first place. Get first place in Survival Mode and Time Attack Mode, accumulate $3,500 and go to Anko's Shop to unlock Oboro Mode. Beat Survival Mode and take $2,500 to Anko's Shop to get Team Battle Mode. Finish all of the game's single player campaign and bring $2,500 to Anko's Shop to get View Mode. To get Gallery Mode, you must unlock every character and give Anko $6,000.
Characters
You can unlock all of the characters after you beat the single-player campaign, Time Attack Mode, Survival Mode and all Story Matches. After doing this, head to Anko's Shop. Akamaru, Crow and Kankurou are unlocked for $2,500. Unlock Haku for $3,000 and Kyuubi Naruto for $5,500. Mizuki is unlocked for $15,000, and Sharingan Kakashi costs $7,500 to unlock. You get Orochimaru for $50,000 and Zabuza Momochi for $4,000. Unlock Sharingan Sasuke for $100,000.
Moves
Kakashi Hatake drills his opponent into the ground when you press "Down" and "A" at the same time. Shikamaru Nara positions himself above opponents and makes it harder to reverse his moves once you hit "B" and "A." Ino Yamanaka can transport himself immediately behind another fighter once you hit "B" and "A." Kiba Inuzuka counters his opponents attacks when you press "D" and "A." Press "Up" and "A" with Gaara to attack an opponent with sand.
Levels and Options
You also get new levels and game options by collecting money. The Amid Toads, Academy Rooftop, Ichiraku Ramen Shop, Village in the Leaves, Academy Schoolyard, Great Naruto Bridge One, Great Naruto Bridge Two and Forest of Death levels are all unlocked for $2,000 at Anko's Shop. Get $1,500 to unlock maximum attack power to do the most possible damage to your opponents. It takes $2,500 to unlock the hardest difficulty level.
