Download Ringtones From Itunes

iPhone ringtones can be up to 30 seconds long.

Your iPhone comes standard with more than 20 instrumental ringtones. If you want to hear your favorite song when you receive an incoming call, visit the iTunes application on your phone. Popular new songs and classic older songs are available for purchase as ringtones. Personalize the ringtones assigned to your contacts so you know who is calling before you even look at the screen, or use the same tune for each call.

Instructions

1. Tap the iTunes app on your iPhone. The application is one of the device's default apps with a purple background and a white music note.

2. Tap "Ringtones" in the toolbar along the bottom of the app. If you do not see the "Ringtones" icon in this toolbar, tap "More" in the toolbar and then choose "Ringtones" from the list that appears.

3. Browse available ringtones by genre, the current top ten most frequently downloaded or the ringtones currently featured in iTunes. If you have a particular title in mind, tap "Search" in the toolbar along the bottom of the app window and then enter the name of the artist or song name. Scroll down to the "Ringtone" section in the list of results.

4. Preview a ringtone by tapping the name of the song. Tap the price icon to the right of the song title to purchase the ringtone. Confirm the purchase by tapping "Buy Now."

5. Sign in to your Apple account when prompted. If you have previously made purchases through iTunes on your iPhone, you will only be required to enter your password. The ringtone will download to your iPhone. Make the ringtone you downloaded the ringtone on your iPhone by tapping "Settings," "Sounds" and then the name of the ringtone you downloaded.
