Unlock your Treo 750 phone for use with any network.
The Palm 750 phone comes with features such as a 1.3-megapixel camera, Bluetooth wireless technology and full QWERTY keyboard. It also has a hidden feature that locks your phone to one specific network. This prevents you from switching wireless providers or using your phone overseas. Fortunately, you do have the option to unlock your phone with AT&T wireless. You just need an international mobile equipment identification (IMEI) number for an AT&T representative to generate an unlock code. The code only unlocks your specific phone.
Instructions
1. Enter *#06# into your Treo phone. Press the "CALL" button. Wait for the 15-digit IMEI number to appear on the screen. Write down this number.
2. Contact AT&T wireless. Verify your account information and ask for an unlock code. Provide your phone's IMEI number and model number.
3. Turn off your Treo phone. Remove the protective cover in the back, remove the battery and take out the SIM card.
4. Replace the SIM card with one from another wireless network. Push the power button to turn on your phone and allow it to reboot.
5. Touch "Menu" and "Phone Tool." Enter "#*#CODE#" into your phone keypad. The code you enter will be the unlock code you received from AT&T.
6. Touch the "CALL" button. Your phone will reboot and unlock to the new network.
