The Jawbone Original is compatible with most Bluetooth-enabled mobile phones. To use your Jawbone, you must first set it up through a process known as "pairing." Pairing the Jawbone and your phone is a one-time setup procedure; once you've performed the steps, your phone will save the settings you enter. Charge your headset fully before you begin -- this requires about two hours. The indicator light on your Jawbone will turn off when the battery is fully charged.
Instructions
1. Turn off the Jawbone headset if it is powered on.
2. Press the black "Noise Shield" button. Release the button after about three seconds, when the indicator LED begins to flash red and white. The Jawbone is now in pairing mode.
3. Press your phone's "Menu" button and choose "Settings/Tools." Select "Bluetooth."
4. Choose "Add New" or "Search." Your phone will attempt to locate the Jawbone.
5. Choose "Jawbone" from the list that appears. When prompted for the pairing passcode, enter "0000" and press "OK" to complete pairing.
