Connect Cellphone To Home Wireless Internet

The Internet has, over the past two decades, become an integral part of life in the Western world. It allows for easy access to information; it plays an enormous role in global commerce; it is a major hub for communications; and, in general, it has inserted itself into many aspects of our daily lives. In recent years, Internet access has moved out of the confines of computers alone. These days, some mobile phones can now access the Internet as well. As every phone varies and has different navigational menus, the basics of setting your phone to accept your router's signal are similar.

Instructions

1. Locate your network password by logging into your administrator's account specific to your router type.

2. Write down the network name and password you have set on the router.

3. Navigate to your Internet connection settings on your mobile phone. If you are unsure of where to find these, consult your phone's documentation.

4. Find your wireless network.

5. Input the password when prompted. When connectivity is established, there is normally an icon or indicator light built into the phone that lets you know you have an established signal.
