Install Missing Quicktime Software

Some file types will require additional codecs to view in Quicktime. These codecs are typically available online, free of charge.

If you are missing files necessary to run Quicktime, the best solution is to uninstall and then reinstall the software. Quicktime does not natively support some files types, such as AVI files, but you can download and install a codec that will allow you to play the videos. There are many different video types and codecs, but typically a simple search will produce the codec you are looking for.
