Set Up A C7180 For Bluetooth

Use Bluetooth with the C7180 to print directly from your phone, camera or PDA


The HP Photosmart C7180 printer is one of eight printers in the HP C7100 All-in-One Series. It prints, copies, scans and provides FAX functionality. The printer can be integrated into your home network via a USB connection, Ethernet wired or wireless 802.11 b or g connection. It comes with Bluetooth capability that allows you to print images directly from a Bluetooth device. You can print images from your Bluetooth capable mobile phone if your mobile phone has an imaging or printing application. You can print images from your Bluetooth capable digital camera and Bluetooth capable PDA.


Instructions


Printing from a Camera Phone Imaging Application


1. Use the camera phone's built-in imaging application by selecting the desired image.


2. Select "Send via Bluetooth" and the phone will display the available Bluetooth devices.


3. Select the appropriate printer from the list.


4. Enter a "Passkey" if prompted to do so.


5. Press "OK."

6. Press the "Menu" button.


7. Select the print application.


8. Select the image to print.


9. Select the desired printer by choosing "Find Printer" and when the printer is shown choose "Accept."


Printing from a Digital Camera


10. Choose the desired picture from the cameras "Play/Review" mode.


11. Press the "Menu" button.


12. Select "Transmit."


13. Select the desired "Printer" from the displayed list of available printers and press "OK."


Printing from a PDA


14. Select "Send/Print" after choosing an image from the PDA image application.


15. Select the appropriate printer from the list of shown available Bluetooth devices.


16. Enter a "Passkey" if prompted to do so.


17.Press "OK."
