Format your Nokia 3230 and restore its default settings.
The Nokia 3230 is a smartphone that was released in 2004. It has several standout features, including a camera, push-to-talk walkie-talkie and mp3 player. You can also store pictures, videos and loads of other information on its 32 MB removable memory card. But if your Nokia 3230 starts acting up on you, and you really believe formatting it is the best option, it can be done quickly and easily. However, you be cautious, as formatting the phone will completely delete everything on it and return its settings to default.
Instructions
Method 1
1. Power the phone down.
2. Press and hold the following buttons simultaneously: the green "Talk" button, the "3" button and the "*" button.
3. Turn the phone back on. It should be reformatted.
Method 2
4. Keep the phone on and navigate to the home screen.
5. Enter the following sequence: "#7370#" and press "OK."
6. Enter your five-digit security code when prompted. If you don't remember changing the security code, enter "12345," as this code is the default security code. If you did change the code, enter your new code.
