The volume button is on the phone's left side.
As of July 2011, electronics manufacturer Samsung offers 16 AT&T-branded cell phones. All of them have their volume buttons located on the left side of the device. Check the volume of your phone before you start carrying it around with you. You might assume that the ringer isn't very loud, but it could disturb other people in quiet places like libraries and classrooms. Alternatively, you may be going to an environment that has a lot of background noise and you may want to turn up the volume of the ringer.
Instructions
1. Turn the phone on by holding down the power button until the screen lights up.
2. Press the Up Volume key on the left side of the phone. The phone will emit a ringing noise to let you know the current level of the ringer's volume.
3. Press the Up Volume key again. The ring sound will slightly increase.
4. Continue clicking the Up Volume key until you reach the desired volume.
