Use A Sim Card In A Nokia 6225

You can move your files to your SIM card and transfer them to another mobile phone.

The Nokia 6225 carries both CDMA (code division multiple access) and GSM (general system for mobile communications) technology. This means that the phone can be used on both types of cell phone networks. One of the advantages of GSM technology is that it uses a removable SIM card that can be transferred to another phone along with the contacts and text messages.

Instructions

Save Contacts onto Your SIM Card

1. Type in a phone number number.

2. Click on "Options" on the left side and select "Save."

3. Type in the name connected to the phone number and click "OK."

Save Addresses and Notes

4. Go to your contacts list and select an entry.

5. Highlight the contact, and then go to "Details."

6. Choose "Options" and "Add Detail" and hit "Select." Add details like email, address and notes to your contact.

7. Go to the contact detail field you have chosen and hit "Select." Input your information and hit "OK."

Remove Your SIM Card

8. Turn your phone off and slide the battery cover off of your phone.

9. Remove the battery and take the SIM card out.

10. Put your SIM card into another phone. This will transfer the phone numbers along with all of the contacts and text messages.
