Change The Language On A Nokia N95

The Nokia N95 allows you to change the language. When you go to change your Nokia's language, the language settings will be set to "automatic," which means the default language recorded on your SIM card. You may want to change the language if your first language is not the language on the "automatic" setting, or if you want to practice a foreign language by using it on your phone.

Instructions

1. Press the button to the left of the center square on your keypad -- the icon on the key looks like an oval with two circles around the edge. Pressing this button will bring up the menu screen.

2. Click "Tools," followed by "Settings," "General," "Personalization" and finally "Language."

3. Select your desired language under "Phone Language" or "Writing Language." Changing the "Phone Language" affects the display of your phone, such as the menus. Changing the "Writing Language" affects the characters when you input text on your phone, such as text messages.
