How Transfer The Phonebook From A Nokia N95 To An Iphone 3gs

SIM cards are necessary for all AT&T phones.

Like other wireless service providers, the AT&T wireless service uses SIM cards. These cards hold all of the personal data that you create on a phone such as your text messages and phonebook. SIM cards make it easy to switch from one phone to another. Since the Nokia N95 and the iPhone 3GS are both AT&T phones, you should have no issues in transfering the phonebook.

Instructions

1. Remove the back cover of your N95. Take out the phone's battery. Lift up the SIM card holder and slide the card out of it.

2. Press the small indentation of the SIM card tray located at the top of the iPhone with a paperclip. This causes the tray to pop out. Insert the SIM card from the N95 into the tray and replace the tray in the phone.

3. Wait for the phone to restart.

4. Tap "Settings" on the iPhone, then "Mail/Calendar/Contacts," "Import SIM Contacts" and then "SIM Import" to transfer your phonebook to the iPhone.
