Track Gsm Mobiles

Turn your GSM phone into a GPS tracking device.


GSM stands for global system for communications and is the most popular standard for telecommunications in the world. GPS stands for Global Positioning System and can be used to keep track of the location of friends, family and loved ones. All you need is an Internet-enabled mobile phone, a free piece of software and a laptop or other web-enabled device.


Instructions


1. Register for and Download Reperion to your phone. Once the program is installed open up the application and click on the "Track" button. A new window will appear presenting you with the choice to either open up a PDA map or a big map. If you are using your computer, then click the big map option. You will then be presented with a map showing the history of your movement over the past 30 days along with the duration of your stay and the speed of your travel. Reperion also gives its users the chance to sync their Reperion accounts with Google Earth which will allow you get a satellite view of your journey.


2. Get Mobiwee. This program works on the iPhone, Windows Mobile and the Android. In addition to allowing you the ability to track your phone you can also use this program to send SMS, backup your contacts, and back up you files. Once the application is installed to your phone go to your computer and login by entering your username along with your password. Once inside click "Locate My Device" and your phone will show up on a map.


3. Install Glympse. This simple tracking software works with iPhones, Androids and Windows Mobile. Once installed, you can share your location with others by simply sending them a Glympse. This will allow the receiver to click on a link which will open up a map with the user's location. You can also specify the amount of time that others can see your location, from 30 minutes to permanently.
