Download JAR files to your Nokia 6620 using a USB cable.
The Nokia 6260 was manufactured by Nokia and was released in April 2009. It features an integrated GPS application, along with a 5.0 Mega Pixel camera and LED flash. A JAR file is a Java archive file used to combine several files into one. This makes it easy to install Java applications onto your phone.
Instructions
1. Download a JAR file to your computer and unzip it.
2. Install the Nokia 6260 PC Suite on your computer. The PC Suite should come on a CD with your Nokia 6260. Insert the CD into your drive and click "Next." Wait for the application to install.
3. Open the Nokia 6260 PC Suite you installed on your computer by clicking the desktop icon.
4. Connect the Nokia 6260 mobile phone to the computer using the appropriate data cables.
5. Wait for the computer to detect the Nokia 6260 mobile phone.
6. Choose "PC Suite Mode" when the Nokia 6260 asks for the type of mode that you wish to work with.
7. Go to the PC Suite window that you opened and click "Install Applications," in the toolbar. This will open the window for the Nokia 6260 Application Installer.
8. Open the JAR file on your computer that you wish to install on the Nokia 6260. Double-click the file to start the installation process.
9. Wait for the installation to be completed. You can check the status of the installation by clicking the progress bar. Unplug the Nokia 6260 from the computer. The JAR file has been installed on your Nokia 6260.
