How Can I Unlock a Nokia 6120 Classic?
Released in April of 2007, the Nokia 6120 Classic is a cellular phone that features Bluetooth, 2-megapixel video camera, FM radio and other features you expect from a cellular phone. A wireless carrier sells Nokia 6120 Classic phones and the phone is locked, preventing the use of the phone on another wireless network. Fortunately, you can unlock a Nokia 6120 Classic to use on another wireless provider network.
Instructions
1. Call your wireless provider to request an unlock code for a Nokia 6120 Classic. Your provider usually gives you an unlock code free if you have an account that is active and your account is outstanding. Write down the unlock code on a piece of paper.
2. Remove the battery from the Nokia 6120 Classic by removing the back cover. Your SIM card is under your battery. Insert the battery back inside the back cover of your Nokia 6120 Classic.
3. Power your Nokia 6129 classic. Type "#pw+UNLOCKCODE+1" without the quotes on your Nokia 6120 Classic keypad. Replace "UNLOCKCODE" with your unlock code you received from your provider. The Nokia 6120 Classic screen displays the following message: "SIM Restriction Off." You just unlocked a Nokia 6120 Classic.
