The Nokia E71 smartphone has many of the same functions that you can perform on a computer, including the ability to copy text from one area and paste it in another area. The copy & paste function is useful when you need to move information from one screen on the phone to another, such as a website address or phone number you receive in a text message.
Instructions
1. Press and hold the "Shift" button, which is on the bottom row of the keyboard and has an up arrow on it.
2. Push the navigation buttons, located directly below the Nokia E71 screen, to highlight the information you want to copy.
3. Press the left soft key under the word "Copy." The left and right soft key buttons are located below the screen, to the left and right of the navigation buttons. Both buttons have a "-" on them, and both activate the commands written on the screen above them.
4. Navigate to where you want to paste the information.
5. Hold the "Shift" button until the word "Paste" appears over the right soft key.
6. Press the right soft key to paste your copied text.
