Convert Nokia Tunes To Mp3

Nokia cell phones have the ability to play back various file formats including WAV, MP3 and AMR files. However, Nokia also has a proprietary file type that include the file extensions .nokia, .noktxt, and .ott. You can convert these Nokia ring tones and other proprietary Nokia tunes into MP3 files. MP3 files are one of the most common audio file formats and can be played on nearly any operating system.


Instructions


1. Download Nokia ring tones on to your computer. There are several places on the web you can find Nokia ring tones for free.


2. Open your web browser and go to Media-Convert.com. This website can convert several Nokia tune files into MP3 files.


3. Select a Nokia file to convert by clicking the "Browse" button. Remember, these files will likely contain the extension .nokia, .noktxt. and .ott.


4. Choose an output format from the output format drop-down. This can be found halfway down the web page on the left-hand side. Choose "Mpeg-3" from the list. This should be the first option in the drop-down menu.


5. Click "OK" to start the conversion. The conversion should take a few minutes and depends on your Internet connection.


6. Download the converted file by clicking the link that is produced. This will save the file to your computer.
