If your Nokia N95 phone cannot download the latest firmware updates, consider changing the phone's product code. This involves several steps since you cannot change your phone's product code with just the phone itself. You must download and use the Nemesis Service Suite. To use the suite, hook the phone up to your computer.
Instructions
1. Go to the B-phreaks website and download and install Nemesis Service Suite.
2. Plug the N95 into your computer via a USB cable.
3. Launch Nemesis Service Suite. Click the "Read" button to see the current product code for your N95. Write this code down (you need it if you ever want to return the N95 to the original product code). View the second link in Resources to see a full list of product codes.
4. Erase the product code Nemesis Service Suite displays and input a new code to replace it. The new code depends on the the region you want to set the code to (for example, 0534842 is the code to change the region to France).
5. Click the "Write" button after imputing the new code. The N95's product code is changed.
