Install Java Applications On A Cell Phone

There are many Java applications available for cell phones.


Java cell phone applications allow you to incorporate many new things into the functionality, usefulness and recreational properties of your phone. Some are available at a minimal cost and others are free. There are many libraries on the Internet full of Java applications, games and utilities made purely for cell phones. Using an uploader, you can install these Java programs quickly through your web browser.


Instructions


Uploading the Application


1. Download the Java application you wish to install onto your computer (see Resources).


2. Open the default web browser on your computer and access the Rumkin Uploader by typing its URL in the address bar (see Resources).


3. Click on the "Browse..." button to the side of the "JAR File" option.


4. Locate the Java application you downloaded and click on it. Then press "Open."


5. Enter a description for the application in the "Description" box.


6. Click on "Upload File."


7. Write down the jump code shown on the upload screen. This is the code that is given to the file you have uploaded. You will have to enter this code to find your Java application later.

8. Open the web browser on your phone and access the Rumkin jump screen using the address bar (see Resources).


9. Enter the jump code for your file in the text box shown and then select "Get File."


10. Click "Yes" when your phone asks you if you would like to download a file. The Java application will automatically be installed and you can find it in the applications menu of your phone.
