Use A Nokia N95

When making a call on the N95, choose a saved contact.


Slide the versatile Nokia N95 cell phone face up or down to access both phone or MP3 player controls, or just leave it closed and push a button to access the camera. The N95 also features a Web browser, an image and video gallery, text messaging, ring tones, voice mail, time management tools and GPS receiver. After the battery is installed and charged and the phone is turned on for the first time, you can get to using the basic features.


Instructions


1. Slide the top part of the phone up with your thumb and dial the 10-digit number you wish to call using the exposed numbered keypad. Press the green "Send" key on the left side of the keypad to place the call. The phone dials the number. Push the red "End Call" button on the right side of the keypad to end the call.


2. Slide the top part down with your thumb to access the music player controls. Press the "Menu" button on the left side of the phone to access the phone's applications. Use the four-way navigator button to select "Music" and "Music Player." Use the navigator button to choose a song, an artist or an album. Plug headphones into the headphone jack on the top of the phone and press the "Play/Pause" button to play the song.


3. Press the "Menu" button and use the four-way navigator button to select "Web." Another way to access the Web program is to slide the phone open during standby mode and hold down the "0" key until the program launches. Use the navigator button to highlight the address field; use the numbered keys to enter the Web site address and press the "Enter" button in the center of the navigator button to view the site.


4. Press the "Camera" button on the bottom-right edge of the phone to activate the camera function. Use the navigator button to select "Image Mode" from the camera tool bar that appears on the screen. Frame the subject in the display and press the "Camera" button down half way to focus. When the framing brackets on the display turn green, fully depress the "Camera" button to take the picture. If "Video Mode" is selected, press the "Camera" button to both start and stop shooting.


5. Press the "Menu" button and use the navigator button to select "Gallery" to view picture or video files. Press "Images & Videos" and use the navigator button to highlight icons. Press "Enter" to open the file.
