You can program the HT-P38's remote control for use with 46 brands of TV.
The Samsung HT-P38 home theater system includes a remote control that you can use to control the system's DVD player and speakers. You can also program the remote control to power, change channels and change volume on your TV. To reprogram the HT-P38's remote for use with a new TV, enter a new code that is appropriate for your TV manufacturer.
Instructions
1. Turn on the TV.
2. Press the "Mode" button on the remote control. The LED light under "TV" flashes.
3. Point the remote control at the TV.
4. Hold down the "Power" button on the remote control, then type the brand code that corresponds to your TV. The TV turns off if the code matches it.
