You will have to search for custom ringtones for your BlackBerry Curve.
Although in most respects the BlackBerry brand of smartphone is the same as other phones, one big difference is in the way the phone manages and downloads ringtones. To put it simply, the operating system does not have a bundled ringtone software application, so it will be up to you to find your own audio files on the Internet for your BlackBerry. Several standard ringtones come preloaded on a BlackBerry, but if you want custom tones, you will have to find them yourself
Instructions
1. Press the BlackBerry menu button, which is the button on the left side next to the green "call" button. This will bring up your BlackBerry's application and settings icons.
2. Scroll over to the media icon with your trackball and click on it once to open the application. Find the ringtone icon and click on it to see a list of preloaded ringtones. Single click each ringtone to preview them, or set them by pressing the BlackBerry menu button and selecting the "Set as Ringtone" option.
3. Customize contact-specific tones. If you want to use custom ringtones for certain people on your contact list, go to the address book on your phone and select the listing of the person you want to have a specific ringtone. Then press the menu button and select the "edit" function. You will see a menu with an "Add Custom Ringtone" option. Select that, choose your ringtone, and save your changes.
4. Make a personalized ringtone. If you don't like the ringtones that come standard on your BlackBerry Curve, you can turn any song or sound effect that has been saved on your BlackBerry's hard drive or an SD card into a ringtone. Go to the media center, select the song or sound effect you want to use, and then pull up the menu. You will see a "Set as Ringtone" option. Click that once to make your custom ringtone.
