Put Messenger On A Nokia N81

Access your IM accounts from your Nokia N81.

The N81 is a touch-screen smart phone developed by Nokia with a slide-out alphanumeric keyboard. This phone can connect to the Internet and runs on a Symbian operation system. Any Symbian-compatible applications can be downloaded to this phone. Many people use instant messaging (IM) programs on a computer; downloading an application for this will allow you to access your IM accounts on the go.

Instructions

1. Start your mobile phone's Web browser by pressing and holding "0," then go to eBuddy (see Resources).

2. Follow the instructions on your handset, then press "Next," and eBuddy will detect your handset details. If eBuddy cannot detect your handset, select "Nokia" from the brand drop-down list and "N81" from the model drop-down list.

3. Click "Install" on your handset and follow the instructions to begin the installation process.

4. Set up eBuddy once it has installed, then create an eBuddy ID. On an eBuddy ID, you can add various types of messenger accounts, then log in to and use them through your eBuddy ID.
