Reboot A Nokia E71

The Nokia E71 is a smartphone released with the E-series of phones from Nokia. The phone has a QWERTY keyboard and runs on the Symbian operating system. The E71 has features such as a 3.2 megapixel camera, GPS, music player, Internet browser, email and calendar. The phone occasionally needs to be rebooted to receive updates from the wireless network, as well as to speed up the phone by clearing out the RAM memory. Rebooting the phone is easy.


Instructions


1. Press and hold the red "Power" button on the phone. The "Power" button is also used to disconnect phone calls. This will power your phone off, and the screen will go black.


2. Press and hold the red "Power" button again to turn the phone back on. If this does not work, continue to Step 3.


3. Remove the back cover from the phone.


4. Remove the battery from the phone. Leave the battery out for a few seconds.


5. Place the battery back into the phone. Your phone will now power back on.
