Use A Bluetooth Plan

Bluetooth is a short-range, wireless technology.

Bluetooth is a short distance wireless technology often used in cell phones and computer devices. Bluetooth is most commonly used to connect a hands-free device to your phone so you can make calls and talk without holding the phone to your head. You need a plan to make calls on your phone, but you don't need the plan to use the Bluetooth option on your phone.

Instructions

1. Sign up for a phone plan from a provider. You can get an unlimited plan or a pay as you go plan. Your phone won't work without a provider and plan.

2. Connect you Bluetooth headset. Make sure your phone has Bluetooth on. Push the pairing button on the headset. In the Bluetooth settings on the phone, choose "Search for device," and when it finds the device, select it and enter the password from the manual, which is usually "0000" or "1111."

3. Put your Bluetooth device in place. Turn on your phone. You can now make and receive calls on your Bluetooth device. You can make as many calls as your plan provides. Using your Bluetooth will not cost anything extra, but it may use more battery power from your phone.
