Enable Gprs On A Nokia 6102

The Nokia 6102 is a full-featured GSM flip phone designed to offer a variety of connectivity and productivity options in a very affordable package. Owners of the 6102 who subscribe to their service provider's mobile Internet plan can take advantage of the web browser built into the 6102. In order to use the web browser, the phone's GPRS service must be switched on as this is the service that allows the phone to connect to the Internet. The process for enabling GPRS is straightforward and requires no additional software or hardware.


Instructions


1. Press the phone's power button and wait for it to boot.


2. Press the "Menu" button located in the middle of the directional keys near the top of the phone's keyboard.


3. Access the connectivity menu by selecting the "Settings" option and then choosing "Connectivity."


4. Select the "Packet Data" option from the Connectivity menu.


5. Choose "Packet Data Connection" and select the "Always Online" option to enable the phone's GPRS.
