Jabra Headset Instructions
The Jabra Headset is a Bluetooth headset device used to provide convenient hands-free cellular phone usage. A standard Jabra Headset provides up to seven hours of talk time with up to 200 hours of standby time. It has an operating range of up to 30 feet and weighs less than 18 grams.
Get To Know Your Jabra
Familiarize yourself with the Jabra capabilities. The LED light reflects the status of your device. A blue light indicates the mode such as pairing, active or standby. A red light indicates a low or charging battery level and green indicates a full battery level. The (+) and (-) are used to change the volume level. Pressing both buttons at once mutes the device. There is one answer/end button with several capabilities. Pressing the button once will turn on the device, while holding the button will turn the device off. Tap the button to answer or end a call. The button is also used for pairing the device. Based on your call plan options, the device allows you to answer, end and reject calls and provides voice dialing, last number redial, call waiting, holding and call vibrate alerting.
Before You Start
Fully charge the headset before you pair or use your device. Charge your device by using the provided Jabra AC adapter with a reliable power socket or the provided USB cable with a virus-free computer system. Charge the device until the LED light shows solid green.
Pairing Your Phone
Once the device is fully charged, pair it to your phone. Turn the headset on by pressing the answer/end button. Put the device into pairing mode by pressing and holding the answer/end button until the LED light shows solid blue. Next, set up your cell phone to search for the Jabra Bluetooth device. Follow your cell phone's Bluetooth instructions. This step is generally completed by setting your phone to "discover" or "add" the device. Your phone will find the Jabra' device and then will request permission to pair with it. Acknowledge the request. Your phone will ask for a passkey or pin number. Enter: 0000. Your phone will complete the pairing process and display confirmation when the process is complete.
Hints & Tips
The Jabra Headset is designed to complement your Bluetooth-capable cell phone. For best audio quality, wear your headset and cell phone on the same side of your body. If your devices does not respond or you cannot hear from the headset, check the volume, check the device connection using your phone's Bluetooth detail, and check your pairing connection. Many times, the device's pairing connection can be disabled. Reset the connection by following the pairing procedure. Always turn your Jabra Headset off before storing. Store the device in cool, dry temperatures, avoiding direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
