Easily customize your display theme.
The default display theme that comes standard with the Nokia 3230 can be boring to look at every time you make a call or receive a text message. It can also be difficult to identity your phone if people in your home own a similar model. Luckily, you can use a free online tool to change the theme of your Nokia 3230 and give it a more customized look.
Instructions
1. Go to Ownskin.com and click on the "Make a Theme" button located on the left side of the homepage. Enter your login information or create an account if you don't have one. Once you have entered your information, you will be asked to select your phone model.
2. Click on Nokia 3230 from the "Select Phone Model" drop box menu. You will now be taken to the Theme Creator page.
3. Click on the Nokia 3230 background picture to make your background. Upload the picture you want to use as a background. Click on the edit button before uploading if you to need to resize, rotate or add any effects to your picture. You will see a preview of your cellphone background after you click on "Done."
4. Click on the Nokia 3230 applications background to create the background for the applications screen. The process for this is the same as in Step 3. You will then be taken to the save skin page after you finished creating the applications background.
5. Enter the name of your skin in the skin name box. This name will appear in your phone. Only a maximum of 20 numbers or English characters (no spaces) are allowed. Click on the "Share Status" and "Share as Template" buttons if you want others to copy and modify the theme you created for their own private use. Click on "Save Skin" button after you are done. You will then be taken to the download theme page.
6. Click on the "Download Theme" button to download your theme. Transfer the theme to your Nokia 3230. Apply your new theme by going to "Settings>Personal>Themes>General" then locate the name of the theme you created and apply it.
