Put Panasonic Bluetooth Headset Into Pairing Mode

Bluetooth headsets are able to connect to other Bluetooth devices without cables and allow you to listen to audio from the device as long as you remain within approximately 30 feet of the device. The Panasonic Bluetooth headset, which is really just a small Bluetooth receiver and a standard set of earbuds, needs to be paired with a Bluetooth device before it can operate. Since the Panasonic receiver can't search for other devices, you will need to place the receiver into pairing mode so that another Bluetooth device can find it.

Instructions

1. Plug either the AC adapter that came with the headset or the USB cable that came with the headset, into the circular port on the side of the Panasonic Bluetooth receiver. Plug the other end of the cable into an electrical outlet, if you are using the AC adapter, or the USB port of a powered-on computer, if you are using the USB cable. A purple light will appear on the receiver to signify that it is charging.

2. Wait 20 minutes, or until the purple light goes off, and remove the cable from the receiver. This will be enough power to get the receiver to stay in pairing mode.

3. Press and hold the small circular button, which is located on the connector that hangs off of the end of the receiver, for two seconds. When the red LED on the receiver starts to blink slowly, you can release the button.

4. Press and hold the "-" button, which is located on the bottom of the large circular dial on the face of the receiver, for six seconds. When the red light starts to blink rapidly, you can release the button as the Panasonic headset is in pairing mode.
