Set Up A Nokia 6300 Connection To The Internet On An O2 Network

O2 network provides a service called O2 Active for cell phones. Using this service, you can access the Internet on your phone whenever and wherever you want. You can browse websites like Facebook, Twitter, BBC, Hotmail, YouTube, Amazon and many others. Additionally, you can also check your O2 balance on the phone using Nokia 6300's Internet. The price of the Internet service depends on your phone plan. For instance, if you use a pay-as-you-go package, you will be charged f3 per MB (as of 2010), while monthly postpaid package will cost you f5 per month for 500MB.

Instructions

1. Go to the web page of O2's Services (see Resources).

2. Enter your O2 cell phone number in the "Phone Number" field.

3. Click "Send."

4. Wait for O2 to send you a text message on your Nokia 6300. When you receive the text, open the link within. You will then be taken to O2 Active page.

5. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the Internet setup on your Nokia 6300. Once you're done, the Internet will be activated.
