Open The Casemate For An Iphone

Case-Mate makes a variety of different covers for iPhones. These cases provide shock and screen protection without losing the sensitivity of the touch screen. The built-in screen does create moisture bubbles at times. Opening a Case-Mate case and installing it on an iPhone can leave you frustrated. However, when you know the proper steps, it will open quite easily.

Instructions

1. Make sure that the Case-Mate case is specifically designed for your iPhone model before you open the package. Each iPhone model has its own line of Case-Mate cases. If the wrong case is purchased, it will not fit the phone.

2. Place the Case-Mate case on the mouse pad with the case face down. The mouse pad will provide friction or grip, to make opening the case easier. Visual starches will occur if you use the palm of your hand instead of a mouse pad. Carpet can also be used if a mouse pad is not available.

3. Hold down the latch button with one finger. The latch button is located on the bottom half of the back of most Case-Mate cases. This latch looks similar to a battery latch.

4. Put the palm of your other hand in the middle of the back side of the case and press down gently on the case. Too much pressure can break the case.

5. Push the case with your palm away from the latch. The case will slide apart into two pieces. If the case does not slide easily, press harder on the latch and try to slide it again. Many new cases are hard to separate the first time.

6. Place the iPhone into the front of the case and slide the back onto the phone. The latch will click when the back is locked in place. These cases are form fitted to each style of iPhone. Taking these cases on and off will scratch the back of the iPhone.
