Get Packet Data On My Cell Nokia 2626

Nokia 2626 supports Class 6 General Packet Radio Service (GPRS). If you activate GPRS on the phone, you can access the web right from your phone browser at speeds varying between 24 and 36 kilobits per second. You can visit various websites like you do on your computer, check your emails, update your social network profile, get weather forecast reports and read news headlines. Activating a data service like GPRS on your cell phone requires your network carrier's assistance.

Instructions

1. Go to "Menu," then "Settings."

2. Choose "Connectivity."

3. Select "Packet Data."

4. Select "Packet Data Connection."

5. Select "Always Online." Now your phone will be set to automatically register to a GPRS network when you power on your phone.

6. Call the customer services department of your cell phone network provider and ask them to enable GPRS on your account. Once they activate it, your phone will automatically update the required settings.

7. Go to "Menu," then "Web," then "Browser" and type the address of a page you want to visit on the web. The page will then load on the phone browser.
