Put A Signature On Text Messaging On The Nokia C3

Add a text messaging signature on a Nokia C3 phone.

Signatures are often added at the bottom of a message to show personality. For example, in an email, your signature might be your name or a funny quote. Signatures used to only be available to use online, but with cell phones increasing in popularity, several phone companies have added the option to add signatures to the bottom of text messages too. Unfortunately, the Nokia C3 is not able to have a text messenger signature by default, but this can be fixed by downloading the free application "TextEasy."

Instructions

1. Turn on your cell phone and navigate to the application market. This can be done by pressing the "Home" button and selecting the green "Market" button from the list of icons.

2. Click the "Search" button in the top right corner of the market and search for "TextEasy." Select the application, then press "Download."

3. Wait for the program to download and install. This takes between one and five minutes depending on the speed of your phone. When the program finishes installing, you will receive an alert asking you to launch the program. Select "Yes."

4. Press the "Settings" button on your phone and select "TextEasy Settings."

5. Click the "Signature" button. A screen will pop up asking what you would like your text messaging signature to be. Type in the custom message, then press "Okay."

6. Press "Back" to return to the main menu of TextEasy. Select a friend to text from the list of contacts. As you type, you will notice that your signature automatically appears at the bottom of every message.
