Sync Itunes & An Ipod

Your iTunes will sync music to the iPod classic, shuffle, nano and touch.

A media management program, iTunes is designed to function as both a standalone media player for your computer and a data transfer utility for all your iPods. After you have added media to iTunes, setting up a new iPod and copying your iTunes library to it are both easy tasks. Bear in mind that syncing iTunes and an iPod means sending media from your computer hard drive to the iPod, and not the other way around.

Instructions

1. Open iTunes on your computer and wait for it to load completely.

2. Connect your iPod to your computer via the USB cable that came with your iPod. Wait for the iPod Setup Assistant to appear.

3. Type a name for the iPod by which you will identify it from here on out. Leave the other settings at their defaults, and click "Done."

4. Disconnect your iPod only after the Apple logo appears in the status window at the top of iTunes, indicating the sync is complete.
