The Voicemail Setup On An Iphone Does Not Work

The voicemail setup feature on your iPhone is in the "Phone" application located in the bottom left corner of the iPhone's home screen by default. The setup guides you through the visual voicemail process. If you are unable to set up your voicemail on your iPhone, the voicemail screen will prompt you to contact AT&T or your wireless cellular provider to speak to a live representative, who will assist you in creating or changing your visual voicemail password, according to Apple.

Instructions

1. Tap the "Phone" icon on your iPhone, and click the "Voicemail" icon.

2. Click the "Call AT&T" button in the voicemail screen to contact your provider and speak to a live representative.

3. Ask to reset the voicemail passcode. The AT&T representative will send a text message to your phone of the new passcode.

4. End the call, and tap the "Voicemail" icon on the screen. Enter the new passcode, and tap "OK" to access your visual voicemail.
