Tmobile Voicemail Instructions

Setting up T-mobile voicemail is easy to do.


T-mobile is a cell phone service provider that is headquartered in Bellevue, Washington. They have a global presence with over 120 million customers worldwide. They provide data services, wireless voice, and messaging. There cell phone plans offer many features and benefits, voicemail being a popular feature. If you are a new T-mobile customer, or have just received a new phone and are trying to set up voice mail, there are a few simple steps to follow.

Set Up


1. Hold the Number 1 key on your phone until it dials into your voicemail box.


2. Enter your password. If this is your first time using your voicemail, you password will be the last four digits of you phone number. The system will then prompt you to set up a new password, which can be four to seven digits long. Follow the prompts.


3. Record your greeting and name as prompted. The greeting will be what your callers hear when you do not answer the phone. The recording of your name is sometimes heard if you are on the phone and someone is atttempting to call you.


Play Messages


4. Press 1 and hold until it calls into your voicemail.


5. Listen to messages, they will play automatically.


6. Pres 9 if you would like to save the message.


7. Press 7 if you would like to delete the message.


8. Press 3 if you want to change your greeting or your name. Follow the prompts that the system will walk you through.
