An icon for each email account you set up will appear on the Curve's home screen.
The BlackBerry Curve smartphone's email application allows its users to manage up to 10 email accounts from the device. After the initial setup of your email directly from the device, you can send and receive email messages as you normally would on a computer. The BlackBerry's newest email features as of April 2011 include Push Delivery Technology, which alerts you on your smartphone immediately when you receive messages on any of your personal and business email addresses, and Attachment Viewing, which lets you open documents and image files from your BlackBerry.
Instructions
1. Press the "Menu" key on your BlackBerry Curve and click the "Setup" icon.
2. Click "Email Accounts" and select "Internet Mail Account."
3. Highlight your email provider and press the trackpad. If your provider is not on the list, click "Other."
4. Enter your email address and password in the appropriate fields. If you clicked "Other," enter the mail server settings for your email account. Click "Continue."
5. Click "Continue" when the message confirming your email set up appears. Click "Return to Setup" if you need to add another email account.
