Reset My Nokia Xpressmusic 5610

The Nokia XpressMusic 5610 is a slide-style cellular telephone that includes a music player, FM radio tuner, 3.2 megapixel camera with flash and a 2.2-inch, 16-million color screen. After the phone has been in use for a prolonged period of time, it may become sluggish. To fix this, Nokia recommends that you reset the phone. There is no need to back up your data prior to a reset, because resetting the phone does not destroy user data.

Instructions

1. Press and hold the "Power" button on the bottom-right corner of the phone to turn off the phone.

2. Press the back-cover release button on the top of the phone, and pull off the back cover.

3. Remove the battery from the phone by lifting up the top portion of the battery using the tab, then remove it from the phone.

4. Reinsert the battery into the phone. Push down firmly so that it snaps into place.

5. Slide the rear cover back onto the phone so that it locks into position.

6. Press the "Power" button to turn on the phone.
