Nokia 2125 Maximum Memory Card Size

The Nokia 2125 includes a built-in Internet browser, a hands-free speakerphone and the ability to sync data and contacts between the phone and your computer. The phone doesn't include a memory card slot, but it contains an internal memory component that stores your contacts, text messages, ringtones and pictures. The memory component, known as shared memory, also stores applications, games and any calendar events and notes.

No Memory Card

Your smartphone doesn't include a memory card slot and there is no way to add a memory card slot for accepting a Micro SD, Mini SD or other type of memory card. The Nokia 2125 casing includes connection ports only for its charger, computer interface and a set of headphones. Your phone's interior casing contains only a slot for its battery pack. No additional ports or slots are present on the Nokia 2125.

Internal Memory

All personal files, music, calendar data and applications are stored in your phone's shared memory. Shared memory is similar to a memory card and computer disk. You can add and delete files from shared memory as well as transfer one or more files from the memory to your computer via the Nokia 2125 USB connection cable. You cannot use the phone applications on your computer though.

Checking Free Space

Like memory cards and computer disks, the Nokia 2125's shared memory is not endless, and there is a limit on how much you can store in the memory. Each application uses a certain amount of shared memory. You can check to see how much free shared memory you have for each application. Navigate to the application from the home screen. Select "Settings" and then select "Memory Status" to see how much free shared memory is left for that application.

Error

When your Nokia 2125 displays a "Memory Full" or similarly worded error message on its display, your phone's shared memory is at its capacity, and you need to transfer one or more files to your computer for storage, if desired. You can also delete one or more files, if the files are no longer needed, from the phone's memory. Images, music and ringtone files consume a large amount of shared memory, and you may want to transfer or delete those file types first to free up shared memory.
