Ringtones are a popular way to customize your Boost Sanyo phone. Boost mobile offers the ability to purchase ringtones through its mobile website, but there are number of websites from which you can download ringtones to your phone for free. These fees vary depending on the size of the file to download. Access to these ringtones incurs download fees assessed by Boost Mobile, but are entirely free to use to add ringtones to your Sanyo device.
Instructions
1. Navigate to the MyTinyPhone website and click "Ringtones." Click "Popular ringtones," "New ringtones" or "Browse for ringtones" to search for a ringtone. Click the ringtone you would like to use on your phone. Click "Boost" from the Carrier drop-down list, enter your mobile phone number, click select "Send as a web link" or "Send as an attachment," and click "Send." Sending the ringtone as a web link sends a web address that must be accessed using mobile web in order to download your link. Clicking "Send as attachment" sends the ringtone as an attachment to download directly from your text message.
2. Navigate to the Myxer website and click "Ringtones." Click a ringtone category, select the ringtone you would like to search, and click the ringtone you would like to add to your phone. Click "Customize it first" to shorten the ringtone or add a fade. Click "Continue." If you do not wish to change the ringtone, click "Get ringtone" and enter your mobile phone number in the Enter Your Phone Number window that appears, then click "Next." Click "Send" to deliver the ringtone to your phone. Click the link in your text message to download your ringtone to your phone.
3. Navigate to the PhoneZoo website and click "Sign up" to create an account. Enter your personal information and click "Sign up." Select "Not listed" from the carrier drop-down list and enter "Boost" in the Carrier Name box. Enter your mobile phone number, select "Sanyo" from the phone manufacturer drop-down list and click your phone. Click "Done" to complete your account setup. Click "Ringtones" and click the category of ringtone you would like to explore. Click the ringtone you would like to add to your phone and click "Send to phone." The link for the ringtone is sent to you as a text message. Click the link provided in the text message to download your ringtone.
