Set Up A Wifi Connection On The Nokia N82

Nokia N82 is a smartphone that features the Symbian operating system. It has a 5-megapixel camera, a sliding lens protector and a xenon flash for taking snaps in dim light. Video calling can be performed via the front embedded camera. It comes pre-loaded with a music player, document viewer, organizer, memo and FM radio. The device also features a standard headphone jack, microSD memory card slot, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Connect the Nokia N82 to Wi-Fi via the options available in its user interface.


Instructions


1. Select the "WLAN scanning" option by pressing the scroll key.


2. Choose "Search WLAN networks" from the list of options that appears. Available Wi-Fi access points are shown.


3. Select an access point. If the access point is secured, enter your WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) security key. This key is case-sensitive.


4. Press "Menu" key. Select "Connection settings," then select "WLAN wizard." Choose the access point from the list. Press "Options" and then "Define access point." Confirm the selected access point by pressing "OK."
