Jabra 2050 Instructions

The Jabra BT2050 headset is a universal headset that can connect to any Bluetooth-capable cell phone.Wearing a Bluetooth headset may keep you and others safer if you talk while driving. It is also convenient while you are shopping or just going out for a walk. Bluetooth headsets keep your hands free and allow you to pay attention to other things.


Instructions


1. Charge your headset for at least two hours.


2. Pair the headset with your phone. Press the "On/Off" button for about two seconds to set the headset into pairing mode; an LED lights up letting you know it is in pairing mode. Set the phone into discovery mode by opening the Bluetooth options and choosing to "Search" or "Add" a new device. Select the Jabra from the list of devices that appears on the phone and enter the headset's passkey, 0000, to complete the pairing.


3. Set the headset comfortably on your ear with the earhook. The earhook can be spun around so it can conform to your left or right ear.


4. Activate Bluetooth on your phone and Press the "On/Off" button on the headset to power on the Bluetooth connection between the two devices, if it is not done already. This is not pairing again, this is simply turning on Bluetooth.


5. Use the Volume "Up" and "Down" buttons to control the headset volume. Press both "Up" and "Down" buttons at the same time to mute and unmute the headset.


6. Tap the "Answer/End" button to answer or end a call. A "tap" of the button lasts one second or less.


7. Double-tap the "Answer/End" button to redial your last dialed call.


8. Press the "Answer/End" button to reject an incoming call, to activate voice dial, to put a call on hold and to switch between held calls. A "press" lasts one to three seconds.
