Format A Samsung E250

The Samsung E250 is a slider phone that was originally released in October 2006. Like many other electronic devices, the E250 may have an occasional glitch. However, when this glitch becomes a major problem and your phone is practically inoperable, you may need to format it. Formatting will erase all data on the phone.and reset it to its factory settings. In addition to fixing any glitches, it's a good idea to format your phone before selling it, thus keeping your personal information out of the hands of strangers.

Instructions

1. Copy all information that you want to keep, including contacts, messages or pictures, onto a SIM card so that the data will not be erased during the formatting process.

2. Power on your Samsung E250 and set it to standby mode (unlocked on the home screen with no applications running).

3. Enter the code *2767*3855# into the keypad.

4. Wait for the device to reboot itself. After it has been restarted, check to make sure that all data has been erased. Your Samsung E250 should now be completely formatted.
