Reinstall Nokia 6288 Camera Software

Your Nokia 6288 features a 2-megapixel camera and allows you to transfer photos to your computer via an included USB cable.


The Nokia 6288 is a cell phone manufactured between 2006 and 2009. It features a 2-megapixel digital camera with a built-in flash bulb. Over time, your camera may function incorrectly, or you may have trouble moving your files from your camera to your computer. To combat this problem, you can reinstall the firmware included with your cell phone, which will also allow you to make sure that you've updated to the latest version of it.


Instructions


1. Boot up your computer and go to the Nokia website (www.nokia-asia.com).


2. Enter the model of your phone (6288) in the search field.


3. Click "Phone software update."


4. Select the language that you'd like to use for your phone ("English: UK" is the default) and scroll down to find your model of phone. click "7.1" next to "6288" to download the appropriate software.


5. Connect your phone to your computer using your USB cable.


6. Run the .exe file you downloaded. The phone should now be updated with the latest camera software.
