Put your own personal stamp on your cell with a downloadable theme.
You've found a cool theme for your cell phone and watched it download to your computer. Now what? You can get that theme file from the computer screen to your mobile phone, no matter your type of phone or cell carrier you have. Or, you can skip using a computer altogether and download the theme directly to your phone from numerous phone theme websites.
Instructions
From computer to cell phone
1. Go to a mobile theme downloading website such as Zedge, Emobilez or Mobile9. Click on the website's "themes" category to browse available themes, which often are updated daily.
2. Locate the option to download directly to your PC, and click. The theme file will download to your computer. Note where your file is downloading on your computer (your desktop or a downloads folder, for example).
3. Upload the theme file to a photo-sharing site such as Photobucket. Then, choose the option to send the file to your phone.

4. Visit the mobile downloading site of your choice. Any of the previously mentioned sites are acceptable. Your cell phone carrier or the company that made your phone may offer their own download sites.
5. Find the "themes" section of the site and browse the selections. Click on your theme of choice to reveal two options: downloading to your PC or directly to your phone.
6. Choose the option to download directly to your phone. You may be asked to provide your cell phone type and phone number, but, more likely, you will be prompted to visit a site with your phone's browser and enter a code for the theme of your choice.
