Use Gps On N95

With increases in technology in the 2000s, cell phones have been equipped to include global positioning and mapping services. Using the GPS on these phones can often be confusing, but the right mix of internet capabilities, maps and access points will allow you easy use of your GPS on your Nokia N95 mobile phone.

Instructions

1. Download the maps you need. Install the Nokia Map Loader application onto your computer from the Internet, and download the maps of the areas that you will be mapping.

2. Connect your phone to your computer with a USB cable and upload these maps to the desktop icon for your phone on your computer.

3. Disconnect your phone from you computer and find the "Assisted GPS" option in your phone's menu.

4. Select the "Tools" option, followed by "Settings," "General," "Positioning" and "Positioning Methods."

5. Choose your connection. You can either use a wireless network or your phone's network, which will cost you for your usage time if it is not already a part of your program.

6. Open your GPS application and enter the destinations of the areas that you would like mapped.
