Watch live streaming TV channels on your Apple iPhone.
A number of freeware and shareware applications are available from the Apple Store that you can download and watch live TV channels on your Apple iPhone. Some applications allow you to watch live TV channels from anywhere using the Safari mobile Web browser and a Wi-Fi or 3G network connection. For instance, SPB TV Free, NetTV, Xfinity and TVUnetworks broadcasts 150 to 300 live TV channels from around the world on the iPhone.
Instructions
1. Open iTunes on your Apple iPhone and tap on the "Store" hyperlink. Use the website's search engine to help you find a free live TV channel application. Tap on "Search" and type "free live TV channels" in the search text box. Tap the magnifying glass icon when you're done.
2. Enter your Apple iTunes log in user account information, and download the live TV application on your iPhone. Follow the onscreen information for installing the software. Before you begin, make certain your Apple iPhone model is compatible with the live TV channel application. Many live TV channel applications are only compatible with the iPhone 3G, 3GS and iPhone 4.
3. Tap on the live TV channel icon to turn your Apple iPhone into a TV screen. For example, if you're using the SPB TV application, make certain your phone has an active Wi-Fi, Ev-Do or 3G Internet connection.
4. Tap on the top left button on the main screen to organize the live TV channels that you want to view by language and location. Tap and hold a TV channel. Then drag it to a different location to organize the TV channels list. Next, tap on "Edit" button to delete all of the TV channels that you do not want to watch on your iPhone. Tap the "Done" button to save your settings.
5. Tap on the live TV channel that you want to watch to view it in full-screen mode. If the Preview Picture option is available you can also view the TV guide information for the live TV channel. Tap anywhere on the the display screen to view the on-screen controls, which allows you to quickly switch to any channel that you want to watch. You can also change the streaming quality and adjust the volume level too.
