Set Up Voice Mail On A Blackberry Curve

Your BlackBerry Curve can act as the communication hub for your life, receiving instant messages, text messages and email. The BlackBerry Curve is also a mobile phone, able to make and receive telephone calls. If you have a BlackBerry Curve, you will probably want to set up your voice mail, so that people can leave voice messages for you when you are not available to answer the phone.

Instructions

1. Hold down the "W" key to dial your voice mail number. Dial your BlackBerry Curve's phone number to access the voice mail if your speed dial key does not work.

2. Press the number "4" key that corresponds to setting up the outgoing greeting. Select whether to have your outgoing greeting say just your number, just your name or a recorded greeting.

3. Begin recording your name or greeting in a loud, clear voice if prompted. Press the "#" key when you are finished.

4. Listen to your recording. Press the "*" key to rerecord if you are unsatisfied with it. Press the "#" key if you are satisfied with your recording. Disconnect the BlackBerry Curve from the voice mail system by pressing the red phone icon button.
