Unlock a Motorola C168i
The Motorola C168i is a mobile phone released for the AT&T network in 2007. Motorola designed the C168i with two security locks to restrict the use of the phone. One of the locks prevents users from making outgoing calls or answer incoming calls. The second lock disables the buttons on the phone so it is not operated accidentally. In order to use all of the features on the Motorola C168i, unlock the phone.
Instructions
Phone Lock
1. Press any button on the phone to bring up a window in the display. The window prompts you for a password.
2. Enter the unlock code using the phone keypad.
3. Push the "OK" button on the phone to finish unlocking the phone. All of the normal calling features are now available for use.
Keypad Lock
4. Press the "Menu" button on the phone. The "Menu" button is the button located in the center of the navigation buttons.
5. Confirm unlocking the keypad by pressing the "*" button on the phone keypad.
6. Lock the keypad again by repeating Steps 1-2.
