Set Up A Motorola H500 Bluetooth Headset On A Cell Phone

While the Motorola H500 Bluetooth headset provides powerful hands-free options for your cell phone, the process of teaching the two devices to work together is not exactly intuitive. Understanding this process upfront can save valuable time and energy that might otherwise be wasted by trying to figure it out on your own. With the proper procedure in mind, the necessary connection between your Bluetooth headset and your cell phone can be established quickly.

Instructions

1. Activate the Bluetooth feature on your phone by pressing the "Menu" button and selecting "Bluetooth" from the menu options that appear. Choose "Power" and then select "On." Because there are so many different models of phones, all with varying procedures, consult your user manual for alternative steps if needed.

2. Place the Motorola H500 into pairing mode by pressing and holding the "Call" button until the blue LED light flickers on and becomes steady.

3. Scan for Bluetooth devices on your phone. Typically, this is accomplished by pressing the "Menu" button and selecting "Bluetooth" from the menu options that appear. Choose "Handsfree," and then select "Scan for Devices."

4. Select the Motorola H500 from the resultant list of discovered Bluetooth devices. Enter "0000" when prompted for the device's passkey. A confirmation message will appear, indicating that the devices are now bonded.
